A PERSONAL WELCOME FROM OUR COMPANY DIRECTOR

We're not just a training platform. We're here to help you succeed.

Write your awesome label here.
Hi, I'm Darren. I've chaired public boards responsible for investment in my local area, so I know how much good decisions depend on understanding their long-term impact, on people and places as well as on budgets.

ESG has moved from a nice-to-have to something investors, customers and regulators expect organisations to manage and report on. The people who can turn that into a practical strategy are in demand, and that's what these courses from The Corporate Governance Institute prepare you to do.

If you're not sure where to begin, message me or book a call, and tell me where you want your career to go.

Frequently asked questions

Which ESG course should I take first?

If you're new to ESG, start with the Professional Certificate in Overview of ESG. If you lead a team or sit on a board, ESG for Directors and Executive Leaders is a short, practical starting point. For a diploma-level certification, choose the Diploma in ESG.

Is the Diploma in ESG accredited?

Yes. It's awarded by The Corporate Governance Institute and accredited by Birkbeck, University of London. Duco Digital Training is an authorised partner of The Corporate Governance Institute.

Do I need a sustainability background?

No. The courses suit managers, directors, finance, risk and compliance professionals, and anyone asked to take on ESG responsibilities. They explain the terms, frameworks and expectations from the ground up.

Is ESG still important after recent changes to sustainability rules?

Yes. Some reporting rules, such as the EU's CSRD, have been simplified, but investors, lenders, customers and large companies still expect clear ESG information. Organisations need people who can manage ESG well, not only report on it.

How are the courses studied?

You enrol with Duco Digital Training and study online, at your own pace, on The Corporate Governance Institute's learning platform. Certificates take around 12 to 15 hours, short courses around 3 to 5 hours, and each course page shows its access period and assessment

What roles can an ESG certification lead to?

It supports roles such as ESG manager, sustainability lead, head of sustainability, ESG reporting analyst, risk and compliance manager, and directors with ESG responsibility. It also strengthens finance, procurement and investor relations roles, where ESG questions now come up every day.
