About the Course

Knowing that CSRD applies to you is only the start. The hard part is doing it: deciding what's material, gathering the right data from across the value chain, reporting against each standard, and presenting it all in a way that's transparent, comparable and ready for assurance.

Compliance with CSRD focuses on those practical steps. It explains ESRS 1 and 2 in detail, shows how to run a double materiality assessment and apply materiality thresholds, and walks through each environmental, social and governance standard, including its objectives, disclosure requirements and exemptions.

It also covers how to structure sustainability information in the annual report, how to identify and reduce reporting risks, and how the board should oversee compliance while executives implement it.

You'll learn:

• Describe ESRS 1 and 2 and how they set the framework and general disclosure requirements
• Explain and apply materiality, double materiality and materiality assessments
• Align sustainability reporting with your organisation's value chain
• Describe each environmental, social and governance standard, including its objectives, requirements and exemptions
• Structure sustainability reports for transparency and comparability
• Identify and reduce risks related to sustainability reporting
• Set out how the board oversees and executives implement CSRD.

What you get:

• 3 to 5 hours of self-paced online learning, with [6] months' access
• A digital certificate from The Corporate Governance Institute on successful completion
• Expert speaker videos, case studies and additional reading resources
• An assessment, plus knowledge checks, included in the course fee.
