What is the AI for Good Global Summit?
The AI for Good Global Summit is organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with the United Nations. With over 30,000 global participants, it brings together governments, industry leaders, researchers, and educators to explore how artificial intelligence can benefit society; it is one of the leading international events focused on applying AI for social good.
AI is developing at an incredible pace, but one of the biggest questions facing society is not just what AI can do, but how it should be used. AI for Good focuses on exactly that, ensuring AI is developed and applied in ways that support:
• Human wellbeing
• Social inclusion
• Sustainable development
• Ethical and responsible innovation.
It’s a unique global platform where technology meets real-world impact, and where conversations go beyond theory into practical, solution-focused outcomes.
Why do responsible AI skills matter?
As AI adoption accelerates, the challenge is no longer just access to technology—it’s ensuring people have the skills, judgement, and understanding to use it responsibly.
Organisations across all sectors are now asking:
• How do we build AI capability in our teams?
• How do we apply AI ethically and responsibly?
• How do we prepare people for new roles and ways of working?
These are exactly the kinds of questions being explored at AI for Good.
Across four days of talks and discussions, presenters, scientists, educators, NGO leaders, and practitioners come together to explore not just the challenges, but also the answers and practical solutions.
They look at what AI means for our future—how we can use it responsibly, apply best practice, protect individuals and communities, and work with the technology in a way that benefits society.
These conversations matter, because the decisions we make about AI today will shape the world we live in tomorrow.
Duco Digital Training's focus at AI for Good
At Duco Digital Training, we believe AI is only as responsible as the people behind it.
That’s why we focus on developing the skills, knowledge, and judgement needed to use AI effectively and responsibly in real-world settings.
We’re a BCS accredited international training provider delivering online courses and career building programmes in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, data protection, and responsible technology adoption.
Our programmes are designed to help people at different stages—whether you’re starting out, changing careers, or looking to deepen your expertise—while also supporting organisations to build capability across their teams.
Everything we deliver is aligned with recognised standards such as SFIA and BCS, so learners gain practical, industry-relevant skills that can be applied immediately.
At AI for Good, we’ll be focusing on how education and skills underpin responsible AI—helping ensure that those developing and using AI systems can make informed, ethical decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
If you’re attending, you can also speak with Darren Winter, Director of Duco Digital Training and a doctoral researcher in AI ethics, about responsible AI, governance, and building capability in this space.
